This is me!

Hi there! I’m Sarah, and I’m so glad you’ve stopped by. I want this to be a place of honesty and safety, where we can be refreshed and real. Won’t you stay and rest awhile?

I’m living a life that is not at all what I had dreamed, but is beautiful, nonetheless. I’ve had some incredible experiences, but also my fair share of heartache. I’ve wrestled with more loneliness, fear and depression than I care to admit, as well as questions about why some big dreams haven’t been fulfilled yet. Even so, in the midst of it all, the astounding, overwhelming grace of God has met me at every turn and made my life something lovely.

Maybe you can relate? There are so many things we hope for, but somewhere along the way we run into that painful space between what is and what should be. We struggle with desires and callings and longings and sometimes even a little despair.

But there is hope, and that’s what you’ll find here.

I write about life, faith and finding purpose in the in-between spaces. You’ll hear me talk about what it’s like to live with unfulfilled dreams, navigating tough situations, and finding contentment when life isn’t going according to plan. There’s joy here, and together we’ll find ways to positively impact our worlds even in the midst of our mess. We’ll find redemption, which is my very favorite of all, and lots of grace.
